Firefighter's Noble Call (Poem) - Print

ART PRINT INFORMATION:

The poem reads:

"There is no greater love than a firefighters noble call to wield their axe with passion in the flames where many fall. To defy swelling infernos where no mortals should dare to stand reaching deep inside the embers pulling up children by the hand. To offer their life as a ransom dousing fires with their tears creating bridges of safe-passage giving promise instead of fears. To enter toppled buildings in which the skies are known to fall to seek out every victim before the blaze consumes them all. Left to consider the possibility that each fight may be their end leaving behind a broken family in whose hearts will never mend. They're a timeless depiction of heroes ones we can touch a man a woman they are champions that have given much. Almost an angel these guardians prepare to fly with wings seared and smoldering from the flames that kiss the sky. A mark of self distinction that separates a normal man this defender of precious life has been furnished by eternal hands. Honor must be offered to those that give it all for the cause of self redemption a firefighters noble call."
